China Glaze's "Recycle"

With Flash

Without Flash

China Glaze's "Recycle" is a gorgeous dark gray. I was looking for this color everywhere & I finally found it on Amazon for a great price. I love gray nail polishes and China Glaze is really the only brand I have found that makes beautiful grays. It glides on very smooth. I really didn't need a second coat, but I put one on anyways. I would definitely recommend this color!

e.l.f. Haul

I was so excited when I found these e.l.f. eyeshadows at my local Dollar Tree. On e.l.f.'s website, these eyeshadows from the studio line are $3. I got them for only $1! The colors I got are: Pebble, Mystic Moss, and Butter Cream. I'm very excited to try these & I will put reviews up on each color once I use them!

Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara

Rimmel London's Lash Accelerator was said to "Make lashes look up to 117% longer in 30 days and up to 80% longer instantly." What a joke! I used this everyday for OVER 30 days and I didn't see a change in my eyelashes at all! I am beginning to stop believing all of these mascara commercials & ads because I've learned from experience that most of them don't work!

The pro about this product is that I like the brush. It separates my eyelashes and makes them more defined. I do tend to get a little bit of clumping with it though, which I don't like! The formula tends to flake a lot by the end of the day, so this didn't even pass that test. I would not spend extra money buying this mascara that is said to "grow your lashes" because its a joke! :P

China Glaze's "Below Deck"

I absolutely LOVE this color! It looks like a chocolate brown in the pictures, but in person it actually looks more purple. I love that it's a cream & it covers very well. The only bad thing about this color is that it seems like it took me FOREVER just to get it to look even. I repainted my nails about three times before I was happy with it. I don't know if it is the color or if I was just doing something different. But that's the only bad thing I have to say about this product! The other thing that sucked is that Sally's doesn't carry it...so I had to drive about 45 minutes to get it at Ulta, but it was worth it. :)

N.Y.C. Liquid Eyeliner

N.Y.C.'s liquid eyeliner is not the best. I used to use this eyeliner all the time, until I found something better. The one thing that I really like about this eyeliner is the color. It's very pigmented & it's a pretty color. On the other hand, this eyeliner tends to flake off when it dries. Not only that, but it takes about five minutes to dry! No lie! It is also pretty hard to achieve a straight line with this because the brush bristles seem to come apart easy. Another bad thing about this product is that the formula literally stinks! I can't even describe the smell, it's just horrible. So, this eyeliner is not at the top of my list.

Price: $2.99

L'Oreal De-Crease

L'Oreal De-Crease is a eyeshadow base. From the reviews I have read, I thought this product might work very well. Turns out, it doesn't. The texture isn't very smooth & creamy. It almost feels gritty when you go to rub it in. I like the look of the packaging, but it just makes it hard to get all of the product out. I've tried to use this numerous times and my eyeshadow still moved and creased, so this is going in the trash. It also dries out very quickly, it didn't even last four months for me.

Noxema Daily Exfoliating Cleanser

I don't like this product at all! First, it doesn't lather up so it feels like you're really not doing anything when you are washing your face. Not only that, but the formula doesn't smell very good. After I get done washing my face with this, my face doesn't feel any cleaner than before I used this. That's something I like my cleanser to do and this definitely doesn't do it! I'm glad I finally used the rest up because I will not be repurchasing this product!

e.l.f. Natural Eyeshadow Palette

E.l.f.'s natural eyeshadow palette is the BEST! This has got to be my favorite eyeshadow. I wear this pretty much every time I feel like wearing eyeshadow. It looks very natural on your eyes, but it is just enough color to make your eyes pop. The only downside to this palette is that the case broke within the first week I received it! The top is completely off & the mirror fell off. It makes up for it in the eyeshadow though, so I can't complain! The sad part is that it's limited edition...so no one knows how much longer it will be available!

e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner

e.l.f.'s liquid eyeliner looks very sleek & pleasant just by looking at the packaging. The brush is a felt tip which makes the eyeliner very easy to apply. On the other hand, the formula isn't the best. It's kind of watery and takes a long time to actually dry. If that was the only problem, it would be great. But, as the day goes on, this eyeliner smudges and fades A LOT. Putting eyeshadow over it helps a little bit, but not enough to make this product wearable for 8+ hours.

China Glaze's "Four Leaf Clover"

With Flash

Without Flash

CG's "Four Leaf Clover" is a gorgeous emerald green. I think it would virtually be great with any skin tone. It goes on very creamy & quickly. It only took two coats. One coat almost did the job because this color is so pigmented, which is amazing! I would highly recommend this color to anyone & it is in stock at Sally's with their regular polishes even though it's apart of the Up & Away collection.

e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer

e.l.f.'s mineral eyeshadow primer is very affordable at only $3, but is it worth it? The texture of the formula is VERY creamy & it blends in very well. I like the applicator & it gives you just enough product for both of your eyes without having to get more out of the tube, which I like.

Once you blend it into your eyelid, it doesn't look like you are wearing anything. For me, this product didn't work that great. I have pretty oily skin so this product doesn't keep my eyes dry enough to keep my shadow from moving. I think my shadow lasted two hours with this primer underneath.

Product: e.l.f.'s Mineral Eyeshadow Primer
Price: $3.00
Bottom Line: Leave It!

I would recommend trying this product if you don't have oily skin because you never know, it might be the best primer for you! :)

China Glaze's "Awakening"

I was actually VERY surprised about this color. At first, in the bottle, I really didn't like the color. After I put it on my nails & it dried, I loved it! It's a gorgeous color and in the sunlight it almost looks gold. I only put two coats on my nails and no top coat, and it looks great!

China Glaze's "For Audrey"

CG's "For Audrey" is a gorgeous light blue that is very easy to wear. This is probably one of the most used polishes in my collection. It covers easily with two coats & most of the time I don't even put a clear coat on top and the polish STILL stays beautifully. The other colors on this nail are CG's "Shower Together" (in the cheetah print), L.A. Colors Art Deco in "Black", & CG's "Fairy Dust."

Neon Polish Update

My neon polish "Flip Flop Fantasy" from CG has chipped HORRIBLY since I've done my nails. I don't know if it's just a different formula than their usual polish. On my ring finger, I have one yellow nail & I had white under it and that didn't chip at all. I'm just thinking it's the neon formula that doesn't work well. :\ I guess next time I'm going to put white under the "Flip Flop Fantasy" and see if that works any better.

Art Deco vs. Stripe Rite

L.A. Colors Art Deco is an affordable version of So Easy's Stripe Rite. In my opinion, Art Deco is a million times better & very affordable. It can be found at pretty much any dollar store (at least that's where I get it) and it's only ONE dollar! Stripe Rite is found at Sally's stores and is about four times the price of that.

As for quality, Art Deco is a lot better. I think it has a better brush and the polish is a lot more pigmented.

From my experience, Stripe Rite dries out SO quickly. Within a couple uses it seems to be too thick to even deal with. Art Deco, on the other hand, may get a little thick but that's nothing a little nail polish remover can't fix! :)
