Sally's Girl Eyeshadow "Blue Marine"

When I picked up this shadow I was so excited! In the pan, this color looks like a duo-chrome blue/green. When you actually put it on your lid...ehhh...looks like a chalky blue. Usually I do really like these Sally's Girl eyeshadows, but this one is definitely one that I regret buying.

How To: Depot Lorac Single Eyeshadow

I kept trying to figure out how to depot Lorac shadows and I couldn't find anyone that has posted about it...well here's help!

First, you want to take a knife (I used a steak knife) and push this in between the bottom of the pan and the top. With a little push, this should pop right out.
Anddd...it will look like this. Once it is out, you can tell that the plastic is really thick.
After that, I took a lighter and put it underneath the pan to get the glue loose. I went in between the lighter and pushing it with a knife. You have to be very careful because you don't want to overheat the plastic.
Once you get the plastic out, you get your pan. As you can see, there is a LOT of glue left on the pan. You can clean this off if you want, but I just kept it like that.

As for magnets, I just used refrigerator magnets and cut them to fit on the pan. Actually, the Lorac shadows fit perfectly in MAC palettes...so that's what I did! :)

Let me know if you have any questions and I hope this helped!

e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip "Spotlight"

I originally purchased this product because I thought it would be a great highlight, and it is. It's gorgeous on the skin as you can see by the bottom picture. The only thing that I don't like is that it is very watery and sticky. When you try to apply it, you kind of have to mix it on your hand first before you can apply it to where you want it. Once it is on where you want it, it kind of feels sticky, almost like it never dries. Truthfully, this product was thrown in the trash and I will not repurchase this!

My EOS lip balms are going in the trash!

I'm probably like everyone else because I loved EOS lip balms. However, a couple months ago I started to get VERY chapped lips. Of course, I kept applying EOS because I thought it would make it better. Not only were my lips chapped, but I had a lot of dryness around my mouth as well. I stopped using my EOS balms and used vaseline instead. It took a good month or two to completely heal up.

Now, my lips were perfect yesterday! Last night, I applied EOS before I went to bed...when I woke up...the rash was back! I know I'm not allergic to anything in this balm because I've used organic products before. I know I'm not the only one with this problem either. I haven't seen anyone post about it unless they were wondering if that is what is causing it. Well, now I know this is what it is...these babies are going in the trash ASAP!

Has anyone else have this problem?!

I have another allergic reaction post - HERE!

China Glaze "Rich & Famous"

I'm in loveeee with this color for summer! Rich & Famous is one of my favorite formulas that China Glaze makes. It doesn't have any shimmer, which sometime I like. It stayed on amazing with a base coat & top coat. If you are looking for a great summer color, I'd look out for this! In the five days that I wore it, I got tons of compliments on this color!

Pink & Blue Splatter Nails

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share the nails that I came up with this morning because I'm in love with them! I used China Glaze's "Shower Together" and "Flip-Flop Fantasy". I've gotta say, I love these two colors together! :)

e.l.f. Shimmer Eye Pencil "Plum Passion"

I was looking for a good purple pencil to recreate a look I found on Pinterest. Let's just say, this is not it! It is very hard to work with and to get good color, you have to press down really hard. That's definitely not good for the eye area! I haven't tried any other colors of e.l.f.'s shimmer eye pencils, but they all seem to be very hard and not easy to work with.

Shoe Haul!

I think it would be great to start branching my blog into fashion as well. Especially since I've been buying more clothes and shoes since I've been trying not to buy makeup. ;) Let me just start off my saying I found AMAZING deals this week on some shoes!

First, I found some Sofia Vergara wedges at KMart that were originally $35 and I got them for only $12! Who could pass that up?! Especially since they are SO cute!

I know I don't need anymore shoes, but I couldn't pass those wedges up! Or the sandals I saw at Sam's! Sam's had Steve Madden Sandals for only $15! Of course, I bought two pairs! :)

Let's just say, I'm going to try not to buy shoes for a while. Haha.

China Glaze "Custom Kicks"

I found this color at Ulta a few months ago, even though it was a part of the Kicks Collection. It's the perfect color for summer! It's a bright blue color, but when you're in the sun, it has a gorgeous gold glow. If I didn't have work this summer, I would definitely be sporting this on my nails more often. I'll just be keeping it on my toes! :)

4th of July Eyes!

So, to start off I did my basic winged liner. I just winged it a little more than I normally do.
Next, I took this bright red color from my Coastal Scents palette and applied that with a liner brush.
This is what it should look like. I applied it about 1/3 of the way along my black liner.
Next I took NYX's Milk jumbo pencil with a liner brush and applied it the same way. After that I used Milani's blue liner for the blue portion.
This is the final look! I touched up the black after I used the colors just to make sure it looked clean. I absolutely love this look because it's patriotic without being over the top! :)

4th of July Nails!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I just did my nails this morning, but I loved how they turned out! I used China Glaze's Ruby Deer, Man Hunt, and White on White to complete this look. Along with a lot of glitters, I think this turned out perfectly! Let me know what you think? :)

Dollar Tree Find!

I found all of these cute little nail art bottles that have glitter, microbeads, and things like that in them. I've never seen them at the Dollar Tree before, so I had to pick them up and try them!

Round Glitters

Rectangular Glitters

Microbeads
Sometimes you can really find cool things at the dollar store! & right now, I'm absolutely loving these nail art accessories!

China Glaze Crackle Problems

Has anyone else's China Glaze crackles gotten all thick and hard to work with? I tried putting nail polish thinner into it, but it didn't do anything. It kind of sucks because I have pretty much every color of the crackle. :( Does anyone have any tips on how to work with it?

China Glaze "Kalahari Kiss"

With Flash

Without Flash
This was the nail polish that I was extremely excited about from the Safari collection. When I put it on my nails, ehh, it wasn't want I was expecting. It's a lot more yellow than it looks in the bottle, which I don't think looks good on my skin tone. It's almost like a dijon mustard type color. It does wear good. I haven't had any chips yet and I've been wearing it for about two days. I don't think this will be the color I'll be reaching for, sadly.

China Glaze Haul

Kalahari Kiss, Desert Sun, Purr-fect Plum, I'm Not Lion, Man Hunt, Jungle Queen,  Exotic Encounters
I found all of the colors from the Safari collection that I wanted at Sally's! I'm so excited to try them & I'll be painting my nails pretty much every day, haha. Are any of you interested in this collection? I know this is one collection that I've been over excited for!

Everyday Eye: MAC Satin Taupe & Vex

This is the look we are going for! :)
So, Let's start! First, I ALWAYS use my Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Primer. Next, I used NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk and blended it out very well so there was a smooth transition. I just applied this on my lids and blended up to my crease. I also applied MAC Brule onto my brow bone.
After that, I took MAC Satin Taupe on a fluffy brush and applied that where I want my crease to be. I don't have a very defined crease, so I make my own. :)
I take the same fluffy brush and I used Urban Decay's Tease, which was in the Naked 2 palette. I just blended to make sure there wasn't any harsh lines.
After, I applied MAC Vex onto my lid where there wasn't any color. I took the same fluffy brush and blended Vex with Satin Taupe.
Of course, next I applied my typical winged liner. I used Revlon's Colorstay liquid liner for this.
To finish everything off I added two coats of mascara as well as MAC's Naked Lunch in the inner tear duct.

I hope you enjoyed and I hope this gave you some ideas! :)
