China Glaze's "Fast Track"

Fast Track was a part of the Hunger Games collection, which is now on clearance at Sally's. I really thought I would like this color, but it is really sheer in my opinion. I put on two thick coats but you could still see my nail bed underneath. I did a design on top of this after, so it wasn't as noticeable. I really do like this color though because it is a pretty nude with gold shimmers. Since it's a unique color, I would have to recommend this but just be aware that it may need more coats!

My First MAC Counter Experience & Haul

I've only been to a MAC counter once, which was inside of Dillard's. Overall, my experience was great. I felt like the employees there were a lot more helpful than they were at the MAC store. The only thing was that it was extremely busy! It was Friday afternoon when I went and I waited about thirty minutes for an employee to finally help me. I didn't mind though because the service I got was a lot better than the MAC store and the employees just seemed to be more willing to help. I did go a couple of months ago, which would explain why I have some older collections from my haul. ;)

e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow "Wild"

Top: Applied with Brush
Bottom: Applied with Finger

Applied all over the lid
e.l.f.'s Mineral Eyeshadow in "Wild" didn't meet my expectations. I thought this would be gorgeous, which it is but it is very hard to work with. When I applied the swatch to my hand, I thought this color would make for a beautiful smokey eye, but it didn't quite work out that way. It is very hard to blend and when you apply it on your lid, even with a primer, it doesn't look as nice as the swatch. I still have 9 other colors from the mineral loose eyeshadow line to try and hopefully they will be better!

China Glaze's "Peachy Keen"

I've always tried to find this color in my local Sally's, but they were ALWAYS sold out! I finally got my hands on it though. :) It is a gorgeous color but it is a little bit more neon than I was expecting. I still love it though. It's very creamy but it takes a few more coats than I would like because it does tend to be streaky. I would recommend this color to everyone because it is very suitable for a lot of different skin tones.

How to: Keep Your Nail Polishes Mixed

Here's my solution! I turn each nail polish upside down in my rack for about an hour when I'm cleaning or whenever. I do this about once a month, just so the nail polishes don't get all separated. I've found that I can't turn every one upside down at once because they will end up falling off of the rack. I just do every other one so that the one beside it is able to stabilize the polish upside down. It's actually worked really well for me!

Do you have any tricks to keep your nail polishes nice and mixed?

China Glaze's "Camisole"

China Glaze's Camisole is a gorgeous almost skin-toned color. I absolutely love this color, but not so much the formula. I always have problems with China Glaze polishes that have a thinner consistency. They seem to peel right off my nails even when I use a base coat and top coat. For this reason, I don't like this polish. After a day of wearing this, I took it off because it began to look horrible. I don't know what it is about the thinner polishes but they never work for me!

My First MAC Online Experience & Haul

I've actually made two online purchases from MAC in the past month or so. Let me just say, I prefer to buy MAC products online than going to an actual store. It is so much easier to me to look at products online and another plus is that I can look up swatches and reviews. Once you order, processing is very fast. It took less than a day for me to get my tracking number for my package. As far as shipping goes, it was extremely fast! If you sign up for the MAC emails, you should always be able to get free shipping no matter what you buy because they always send you codes for free shipping off of any order. Overall, MAC online is the best experience I have had related to MAC products.

Now, time for the haul portion:

China Glaze's "Make Some Noise"

This is my second time wearing "Make Some Noise" and I love it! The color is gorgeous for spring and summer. It is a creme finish and to me, it seems like it takes a little bit longer to dry than normal. But, with a top coat, this lasts a long time without chipping and I have not experienced any peeling. I know that my Sally's still has this on their shelves, so I would go check it out because it is an amazing color!
